You've probably noticed a lot of people are talking about the very badass trailer for The Revenant, the Alejandro G. Inarritu-directed drama starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, and the utmost in grizzly (and grimy) beards. But now that the trailer's out, you'd think Leo would start to think about shaving—that is, until you see the above photo, taken yesterday, of him looking as wolfy as ever.

The reason for the continued, bearded status of one of our greatest national treasures: The Revenant will begin re-shoots later this year. That not only means Leo and co. will return to the film set described as a "living hell" (likely the least jovial setting Leo has ever been a part of), but that his beard is here for at least a few more months. The good news? That Leo's Leo-ing hasn't suffered in the slightest since he began donning the scruff. The dude is still giving speeches behind podiums, only now it's a podium with his own name on it, located in Saint-Tropez. The power of the Leo beard lives on.
