Tyga—rapper and boyfriend to Kylie Jenner—has swerved every which way in the last year or so with his personal style. He's picked up on the Vans trend, worn Kanye's still unreleased Calabasas sweatpants, and matched outfits with his girlfriend on several occasions. But yesterday, Tyga unveiled a new haircut that may have gone from swerving to jumping the shark, debuting a haircut that we doubt will catch on with, well, anyone. On Instagram, the rapper showed off his new Tiger-stripe inspired haircut.

A haircut like this takes time, so kudos to Tyga's barber for doing his best to make it work and a golf clap for Tyga's commitment to his grooming choices. That said, the rapper has tiger stripes shaved into the back of his hair. It's giving us Kanye West at the 2009 VMAs flashbacks and we don't mean that as a compliment. (And by comparison, West's graphic 'do looks well-manicured.)
How does Kylie feel about the 'do? Well she's still posting his picture to Instagram, haircut and all, so that's some sign of approval.
We're gonna go ahead and make a formal recommendation that Tyga not do this to his hair again. But if Tyga or anyone else really wants to embrace the tiger spirit, might we recommend tiger camo?
