The Shia LaBeouf ReBeouf (or Shiassance) is in full effect, so the 30-year-old newlywed actor stopped by America's favorite daytime talk show, Ellen, to talk about his new movie American Honey. (For what it's worth, the film is awesome and it's in theaters now.) We're not sure if Degeneres' show has a dress code or what that might be, but, as you might expect, LaBeouf didn't turn up in the standard button-up-and-jeans actor ensemble. Instead, he showed up in shorts, and short shorts at that. His khaki cutoffs offered more than a glimpse of man thigh—they offered up a look at the actor's leg art, a gallery of tats that includes two Missy Elliotts, The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac, all of which are done up in lo-fi cartoon style.

Who knew LaBeouf was a Missy superfan? Turns out, he's not. In an earlier interview with Variety, LaBeouf unveiled that he was peer pressured into the tattoos by his American Honey costars during filming. And while he admits he regrets the content of the tattoos, he doesn't regret the experience—which is kind of what tattoos are all about, right? They should be there make you happy and no one else. So if some portraiture of the woman behind the lyrics "Ti esrever dna ti pilf nwod gniht ym tup?" makes the actor feel good, more power to him. There are many, many more questionable options out there.
