Kanye West's obsession with Adidas track pants—particularly the ones made by his rumored new Adidas sub-label Calabasas—is stronger than its ever been (the rumored eight-figure deal with the German athletic giants helps too). The 39-year-old rapper, who next will debut his new Yeezy Season 5 collection in New York City, has taken to wearing the style not only in the streets, but consistently in their more natural habitat—the gym. And though it's easy to assume West is simply wearing them to keep the Adidas branding out there in the world, the fact is that, just like in your everyday style when you stick to a uniform, you can focus on the important parts of your gym routine—particularly you know, on the working out part.

As West himself knows, summer bodies are made in February, even if things like blizzards and freezing temperatures make getting to the gym even harder than usual. (Another alternative: You could live in Los Angeles like West and his family do.)

The other staples in West's workout get-up are white Adidas sneakers of the Boost variety (but not Yeezys—which aren't technically gym shoes), black socks with his sweats tucked into them, an his customary oversized vintage T-shirts and hoodies.

No word yet if West is sporting shorts under his track pants—or if he gets sweaty in full length trousers—but as far as going to and from the gym, the look is about as perfect a balance of style, swagger, and performance as one could hope for.
