Just hours behind fellow owners of glorious heads of hair Robert Pattinson and Zayn Malik, Brooklyn Beckham hit the reset button on his follicular game yesterday. What was once a floppy ’90s-era rom-com (think Hugh Grant in Notting Hill) mop—and before that, a wavy sun-bleached head of summer hair—is now a shorn buzz cut that, frankly, looks badass and fits well with his in-heavy-rotation flannel shirt collection and go-to Doc Martens. The new cut is a lot more basic, in a good way, and a fresh start for the now-freshman. And the best thing about a buzz cut for a busy student is that it takes zero time to style.
It would also appear that Brooklyn Beckham's brand-new buzz cut is right on schedule. After all, a new change of season offers a new chance to start fresh. (January is a time for resolutions, March for spring cleaning, and September for getting your sh*t together after a long and lazy summer—a.k.a. back to school, even for grown-ups). These cycles of personal betterment are dots on a calendar, but they're also part of your internal clock signaling you to tabula rasa your look every quarter.

Now the real question is: How long before David Beckham buzzes his head, too??
