LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS title gets straight to the point: This will be a show about connection, banging, robots, and uninhibited violence. Often, it appears, we'll get all of those things at once. Read another way, it seems to say, "love death and robots? This is the show for you."
Developed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and David Fincher (every movie every boyfriend has ever seen), this is an 18-part animated anthology series across a number of styles, by a number of cool filmmakers. Despite the soft animation and vibrant colors on display at points in this trailer, make no mistake: this is for grownups only, and is absolutely the kind of show I would have snuck down from my room to watch after my bedtime when I was eight.
LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS hits Netflix in exactly two weeks, on March 15.
