Let Luka Sabbat Show You How to Glow Through Your Scruff

time:2025-02-06 05:44:04 Source: author:

Luka Sabbat admits he looks a little rough around the edges right now. It might be that he’s channeling the Jesus decals he’s currently got on his thumbnails. But it’s likely because he’s learning to cope without a barber, and he’s more than a little nervous to shave his own face.

Sabbat’s not too concerned about his scruff, though, because he’s used all this spare time to get a skin-care routine down pat. “I’ve learned to look like a caveman,” he says in the newest episode of Grooming Gods, “but as long as my skin looks good, it’s not the end of the world.” So yes, when your cheekbones are glowing, you’re allowed to look a little overgrown.

Below, Sabbat breaks down how he keeps his skin squeaky-clean under all that scruff.

Wash Your Face

Sabbat uses his hands to massage a foaming face wash into his skin. “You can go over your unibrow—trust me, it’s okay,” he promises.

Revitalize

With a cotton swab, Sabbat applies a revitalizer to protect his face from the L.A. smog. “You don’t wanna go too hard,” he warns. “This really refreshes your skin, controls the sheen, smooths out those little cracks and crevices. You look a little brand new.”

Restore Balance

He uses another cotton swab for toner to level out his pH post-revitalizer. “And boom, just like that, your pH is restored.”

Fake an Eight-Hour Night

Sabbat’s nail decals make it easy to point out the right finger for applying under-eye serum: “I take the little dice finger and get right under there. Your skin’ll soak it up.”

Mask Up

Next up is a refreshing 10-minute face mask. “Walk around the house, clean up, drink a coffee,” suggests Sabbat, who personally prefers reading while his mask is doing its thing. When all’s said and done, he uses another cotton swab to mop up the excess mask goo. “Feel like a million dollars, look like a million dollars...what’s better than that?”

Spritz on Some Cologne

Sabbat keeps his cologne preferences to himself—what could be worse than everyone suddenly stealing your signature scent? But he recommends “putting your sniffer to use” and finding one that suits you. Here’s a decent place to start.
