Welcome to another edition of Grooming Gods, a weekly recap of the best men's grooming highs (and sometimes lows) courtesy of our favorite stylish gentlemen across the globe. This week some guys went short, and some went long, beards were big and small. Everyone looked great. Let it be a reminder that in grooming and life, you've got to do you.
When a guy who is clearly losing his hair takes the wheel and shaves his head, they always get—and deserve—a respectful round of applause from us. Prince William is the latest famous guy to embrace his follicular fate, and we think the move deserves a standing ovation. Dude is straight up beaming.
16-year-old Paris Brosnan might be One True Brosnan of Fashion Week, but its the OG Brosnan, a.k.a. James Bond, a.k.a. Pierce, who deserves the title of Grooming God this week. A lot of guys have gray hair and a lot of guys have beards, and a few guys are lucky enough have both. But none, not even Jeff Bridges or David Letterman, wear the look quite as impeccably as this guy.
Detroit co-stars and fellow millennials Tyler James Williams and Jacob Latimore looked like a million bucks at the NAACP Image Awards on Monday, and that started with their grooming game. Flashy haircuts are everywhere right now, but there's something to be said for a classic haircut that's just long enough to show a little bit of your natural hair texture, and some scruff to take the whole thing to cool-guy town. If a bleached-blond faux-hawk fade just isn't your thing, remember that this men's grooming path will never steer you wrong.
Does Chris Hemsworth look a little bit like a human Ken doll? Yes. And the fact that he plays Thor doesn't exactly help to squash those associations. But what is helping him seem not only definitely, unequivocally human, but downright cool is his mussed-up, spiky fade haircut. If you happen to be so genetically gifted that you could easily be mistaken for a plastic doll, grow out your hair and your beard to look a bit like this. And throw up the peace sign once in a while so everyone knows you're not in power-save mode.
We've made no secret of the fact that we appreciate Miguel's 'do. There's an artsy nonchalance to this style, allowing him to make a statement with his hair without it taking over everything he wears. Which is great because, as Miguel proved at Fashion Week this week, what he wears deserves plenty of attention too.
