Philips’s Style Yourself web app allows you to upload or snap a selfie and try on 23 different types of facial hair styles. (The weirdly lifelike options include a three-day beard, military or Fu Manchu ’stache, goatee…the list goes on.) The app matches the beard color to your hair, but you can change the hue and size for kicks. After you’re done, you can download your favorite and start growing out the real thing, or just send your girlfriend an image of yourself with a poet’s beard and freak her out.
