In the age of Instagram, documenting your life is the new norm. We see everything from perfect beach vacations to disgustingly artisanal lattés, to time lapses of kids growing up every day. So it comes as no surprise that somebody out there would seek to document the growth of their facial hair. Mashable dug up this video from YouTube user Justin Basl. In it, he shows us his journey from clean-shaven, to scruffy, to bearded man, to mountain man, to wise old wizard, to mad lumberjack. The whole thing is set to some pretty dramatic music, which only adds to the suspense. At some points you think he's gone too far, then he just KEEPS GOING. If it were us, we would've started maintenance at around the 25 second mark (Day 40?), but to each their own beard. We're just wondering if he has since chopped it clean, or if he went down to normal beard levels.
