Can anyone's hair be better than the cluster of follicles belonging to Kit Harington, aka GoT's beloved Jon Snow? Well, one person at the Sundance Film Festival seems to think so—sort of. According to Page Six, a Game of Thrones fan mistook former Glee star Darren Criss for the pursed-lip bastard (on TV, of course). The mix up is an amusing enough story of supposed super-fandom gone awry, but it got us thinking: if said fan thought Criss was Harington based on his hair alone, does that mean that Criss's mid-length curls are equal to or—dare we say—better than Harington's? (Or should we say Hair-ington? Get it?) We had to find out. So we devised a three-pronged rating system with which to evaluate the stars' matching manes.

Our criteria: Fortitude, Shine, and Personal (hair) Style

Fortitude:We do not have samples of these two mens' hair in front of us to test, so we have to speculate a little in this category. Both men boast strong-looking hair. But while Criss's curls are indeed bouncy, Harington's look like they could be used as ropes to restrain his foes. +1 Harington

Shine:Kit Harington's hair isn't dull. But Darren Criss's shines like that of a Disney Prince or a thoroughbred pony—so we have to give it to him here. +1 Criss

Personal (hair) Style:This category is unfairly weighted. Kit Harington made it to the quarterfinals of GQ's 2015 most stylish man bracket and Darren Criss wasn't even a contender. And though he's a handsome guy, with epically great eyebrows, Criss hasn't shown us any break out hair moves. Harington, on the other hand, flexes his wilder mane in a way that inspires us to take risks with our own hair. Harington wears his undone with a suit. He sports it slicked-back in a hoodie headed through the airport. In simpler terms, Harington's hair is just way more badass. +1 Harington

Looks like Kit Harington is our winner. But based on Darren Criss's Instagram feed he's not upset by the comparison.
