Scott Disick's grooming game, like his clothes, has always been a reflection of the times. Back in 2010, when prep and heritage were still big, Disick was known for sporting Gordon Gekko-esque slicked back hair and a clean shaven face. Then, with the rest of America, he pumped the breaks on the pomade and turned up the contrast on his fade. Now, as in this week, his hair and beard is looking a lot like Barry Gibb circa 1978. While sure, the paparazzi may have just caught Disick in between haircuts, the Bee Gees vibe isn't out of step with what's happening in men's grooming. Men have been embracing longer haircuts and messier, more natural styling techniques over the last year or so. And we probably don't have to tell you that beards are everywhere. Disick's new look, intentional or not, silly as it may seem, is definitely on trend.
Now, fluffy mid-length hair and a big round beard might not be a look you want to wear yourself, and that's OK. Disick is encyclopedic in his personal style, but there's no rule that says you have to touch on every single passing trend yourself. What you should do, however, is consider loosening up or growing out your own grooming look just a touch. Scott Disick's commitment to of-the-moment style is enthusiastic, and the Barry Gibb/Serpico look is a lot of swaggy flavor for a 9-to-5 guy to pull off 2018, but sticking with the same look forever isn't a good idea either. Don't start using a round brush and a hair-dryer to style your mane or anything, but a dash of disco flavor wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
