1 frozen banana, sliced (keep peeled, sliced bananas in your freezer so you always have a supply for smoothies and breakfast bowls)1/4 c. blueberries1/4 to 1/2 c. almond milk1 Tbsp. maca powder1 Tbsp. açaí; powder1 Tbsp. maqui powder1/4 tsp. camu camu powder1/2 c. granola (preferably homemade and superfood-boosted)1 Tbsp. coconut flakes1 Tbsp. cacao nibs1 Tbsp. goji berries
Pulse the frozen banana and blueberries in a food processor with just a splash of the almond milk. Once the fruit falls apart, scrape the sides of the bowl and add the rest of the milk. It should thicken like frozen yogurt. Stop the food processor and add the powders. Pulse until the mixture turns dark purple. Spoon into a bowl and top with the granola, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, and gojis.
Once you get the hang of it, swap in different superfoods, like pomegranate powder instead of the açaí, or raw-cherry powder, which helps with inflammation, instead of the maqui. If you’re looking for more detoxifying effects, add 1/4 teaspoon chlorella along with the other powders.
