We're big fans of Harry Styles' sense of style. We even named him one of the most stylish men alive just a few months ago. We think he's got the retro rocker moves down, from the ripped jeans to the Chelsea boots to the long, flowing mane of hair he's been growing out since birth. But even A-List celebs can pass from rock god to rock slob without knowing it, and, well, Harry has. At this point his hair is more a nuisance than an asset, getting in the way of live performances and threatening to upstage all those jealousy-inducing Saint Laurent threads. Here's a few things we think he can do to make his 'do not such a pain while retaining his overall zero-Fs-given vibe.
Embrace the Man-BunOf course, there's a right and wrong way to do it. We'd want him to keep his hair long and make sure the bun is at the back of his head. In no world would we endorse the whole shaved sides topknot thing. Hell no. But a man bun will allow him to actually see the microphone next time he performs. (And for his beloved fans to see his handsome face.)
Take Care of Those EndsSplit ends are a common gripe amongst most long-haired ladies, and men aren't impervious to their destroying ways. Harry's hair is looking like a frizzy at the ends, which is all the more reason for him to get it cut just to tidy things up a bit.
Make a Radical ChangeEx-One D band mate Zayn Malik is living proof that you don't need long hair to look like a style rebel. In fact, going short, like, buzz-cut short, looks equally as badass as shoulder-length locks. Harry's been on this flow for a while—maybe it's simply time for something new.
