Perhaps the only thing Larry David loves more than laughter is golf. Whether he's learning swing tips from a convicted sex offender or killing a swan with a club, the sport is a constant reference point on his HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm. So it makes sense that he just talked extensively about the game with Golf Digest. Naturally, he was prompted about young gun Jordan Spieth, the 22-year-old phenom who had four top-five finishes and two wins during this year's majors. But Larry noticed the same thing we did a few months ago—that Jordan Spieth is already losing his hair. Where we differ from Larry is that we sympathize with a kid who's barely old enough to drink going prematurely bald (even if his preferred sports allows him to wear a hat on the job), while Larry relishes in the moment. He coldly (if hilariously) states in the interview, "He's going to be a bald man. He's going to be wildly bald. This makes him way more appealing to me. It's one thing to handle the pressure of the back nine at Augusta; let's see how he does when he sees all that hair in the tub. That's pressure." He continues to say that he'll be tracking Jordan's hairline progress. "I'll be watching him very carefully. He's 22. He's got three years, maybe four. He's done," says Larry.
We hope it'll be a few years for Jordan before he's fully chrome-domed, but at least he can rest assured that when that day comes, his biggest fan will be none other than Larry David.
