A beard is one of the things that make you a man. It’s not the number one thing, but beards are good. Even if yours is shaved and you can’t see it, you know it’s there growing, a sign of life. Permanent hair removal is possible, but you’re not a girl with a faint mustache: A man’s beard covers his face, and nuking it would put you in a world of pain. Not to mention androgyny. Who likes shaving? Only mirror slaves, probably. I shave about once a month. So except for a couple of days, I have a short beard, and even my wife likes it. Beards are back. If you don’t like shaving (as opposed to beards), then don’t. Unless you work for a weird, fascist company like the New York Yankees, why not?
