"Time is what you make of it," says Iguodala—so it's no wonder the man puts so much thought into his wristwatch collection. He's a natural multi-tasker, busy with yoga, golf, business ventures, and family time, not to mention eight months a year of pro basketball. Plus, the guy reads a book every two weeks (see below for some of his favorites). How does he squeeze it all in? After 14 years in the NBA, Iguodala has achieved some veteran perspective. "You actually have a lot of downtime as a professional athlete after you’re done practicing three to four hours a day. I’ve learned to make the most of my time."

"My locker is pretty simple. You won’t find anything out of the ordinary in there. I like stick deodorant. I’m not a huge fan of spritz. I always have Degree—either Extreme or Cool Rush."
Neiman Marcus
"And I always have this lotion, Beneath Your Mask. It’s a “souffle”—that’s what they call it. It’s a natural organic lotion, it’s really thick, but after you put it on your body just feels softer than anything. That’s my thing, I love that lotion. As long as I have deodorant and that lotion, I’m good to go."
Lululemon
"I got a yoga mat, I do yoga twice a week. I do both regular and hot yoga. Lululemon has an extra large yoga mat, longer and wider, so it fits me. I used to go to a studio in Berkeley but now the instructor comes to us."
In His BackpackLouis Vuitton
"I’m a collector of designer backpacks. My favorite one is the Louis Vuitton Christopher bag. It came out in 2004, I got it a couple years later after that. They haven’t made it since then. If I had to carry one bag for for the rest of my life that would be the one. It’s big, it’s really oversized, so it kind of fits me perfectly."

"Most guys have Beats Headphones. But I like the Bose for the noise canceling on the plane."
Amazon
"Guys either have iPads or laptops watching a movie on the plane. I use the iPad for golf magazines and Netflix. Right now I’m watching 'Black Mirror' and 'White Famous.'"

"There are always two books in my backpack. I try to get through a book every two weeks. I saw Tiger come up as a kid, his accomplishments as an African-American in a sport where we weren’t accepted or allowed to play up until the ‘60s or ‘70s—how he dominated the sport and got the black community into watching golf. Augusta had its first black member in ‘91."

"Being African-American you try to explain certain things to people, like how it is to live in America, how people look at you, how you react to certain things. You try to explain it but people just don’t get it. I feel like this book explains it perfectly. It’s amazing."

"This is the best business book that I’ve read. And probably the longest book I’ve ever read. He’s been studying money since the age of eight. So that’s like me—I’ve been playing basketball since I was six. His environment put him in that situation. He put the hard work in and made the most of his opportunities."

"My mother was very fashionable, really put together, and watches were a cool thing to have in my household. I think the first watch I got I asked for as a birthday present, I think it was a Guess watch. Then I bought myself a Fossil watch—that was a nice watch to have, where I’m coming from. By my senior year of high school I had a few different watches. A lot of the guys in the NBA had the Frank Mueller, that was the watch to have in the late '90s, early 2000s in the NBA. But my eyes got opened to something totally different—it’s not just watches, it’s timepieces. I had a friend who taught me which watches were trendy and which watches held their value. My first couple years in the league I started buying magazines and doing research on what a timepiece was and the amount of man-hours that goes into making a timepiece. I do my homework. It takes me a while to buy a watch. I haven’t bought one in 2 years. I got the Royal Oak Offshore Audemars in 2010 in Philly. I can dress it up and dress it down, go to any meeting with that watch. It’s masculine and very versatile. That one has gone up in value since I bought it."
Rolex
"My favorite watch is the Rolex Masterpiece. You ever see "He Got Game?" There’s that funny scene when the agent, Dom Pagnotti, gives him that watch. I know him in real life. I always laugh about that."
Panerai
"I got a Panerai Luminor for the draft. But that one got stolen at the Garden, during the game. It had small diamonds in it. I had a spot I would hide my watch, but after the game it was gone. But I replaced it with a Panerai Luminor 1950 Chrono 8-Day, all black. It’s like "Life" when Eddie Murphy gets his watch back like 50 years later."
Target
"I wear an Apple Watch rarely, to track my golf rounds. If it’s warm we’ll play for sure. Steph Curry, and Klay Thompson is playing more now too. My three wood is probably my best club. That’s the club i hit the best."
Silicon Valley Status Symbols"In Silicon Valley they don’t really have a suit and tie dress code. I usually wear some nice jeans and a button up with a sweater or a cardigan or a blazer or a polo. Something with a collar. There’s one direct-to-consumer brand that has figured out big and tall—Good Counsel. They play middleman between the brands and consumer. It’s hard for us to find clothes off the rack that actually fit us. Most of the time we have to get made-to-measure which is a hassle and takes many fittings. "
Allbirds
"The latest thing is Allbirds—that’s kind of the Silicon Valley shoes. They don’t go up to size 16 yet, but I’m trying to get a pair. I’ve had some discussions. It’s in the making."
Mercedes-Benz
"I’m still in decision mode about whether I’m getting a Tesla or not. For me it’s all about leg room. My knee has to be as straight as possible when I drive or else I get knee pain."
