This gem does what every great work of art should. Instead of giving answers, it raises questions. Like, why is he wearing a shirt? What does “G m.” stand for? Is it good morning? Or is it Go Madrid? Get Money? Got Milk?

And what’s Cristiano Ronaldo training for? Is it soccer? Or is it for a new life, full of shirts, plants, and Instagrams thoughtfully reflecting on reflections? If you ask us, it’s a meditation on Life—Ronaldo’s shout into the void. There is no geotag, because what are borders really, other than societally imposed edges we create to put thing into neat categories, to separate inside and outside, locker rooms and greenery, Man and Nature? Here Cristiano looks deep into himself in a glass window that’s actually a window into THE SOUL that says: everything's right here together, mixing and blurring, and, like plants, when one bud closes—say, Real Madrid—another opens—maybe, the New York Red Bulls?—old earth giving life to new seedlings.
