Here’s one that gets it all right: Gillette Fusion Pro Series Thermal Face Scrub ($6.99 at drugstore.com). It removes the dead skin flakes, leaves my mug feeling extra-clean, and also packs a little extra punch. Using some Mr. Wizard-like science, this eoliating gel instantly heats up when you rub it against your face, a little like a piping hot towel massage in a bottle. Nothing short of awesome, especially for a product under ten bucks. The company also claims that the combination of scrub and heat softens your facial hair for a comfortable shave. I only shave my neck since I have a beard, but my post-scrub shave did go smoothly without a single nick.
